About us
We represent the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca at the 17th edition of Seismic Design Competiton, a competition in which our University has been participating since 2011. Our team’s previous results, which are 3 consecutive first prizes, gives us the confidence for the further months of work. This champions titles, obtained in front of prestigious universities, demonstrates that achieving performance is not an unfulfillable dream.

SDC ( Seismic Design Competition) is a seismic engineering competition, which takes place every year during a conference organised by the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI), that gathers specialists from the seismic engineering field but also from other related fields. The aim of this competition ist to encourage the students to get involved in approaching a worldwode problem – the seismic risk.
