"Windows, facade and glass specialist" Conference
The first public presentation of the 2018 SDC team was held during the "Windows, facade and glass specialist" Conference, in october 2017.
During this conference, that was organized by The Ownership of Producers for Thermo-Insulating Carpentry (PPTT), we had the great opportunity to assist presentation about innovative solutions for facades and windows. We also learned about the importance of fire-safety measures and about the design and building of curtain walls.
At the end of the conference we had the chance to talk about our project, through a 20 minute presentation. During this, we explained what is the contest about and how we are preparing for it. We also presented a short video of a balsa model testing on the shake-table. We were happy to observe that our presentation was appreciated by the people attending the conference, offering us their congratulations.
