CONSENS

The Association of Construction Students from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (ASCUT) is the organization that defends the rights and interests of their members that study Civil Engineering at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.

Between 28 th and 30 th March, ASCUT organized the CONSENS event, which aims to bring the most recent building innovations/news to both students and teachers. Also, through CONSENS, ASCUT wants to create a social environment that brings only benefits to students, teachers, and participating firms, thereby eliminating any discrepancy or barrier in the communication between them. Presenting some of the most prestigious companies in the field, students have the opportunity to enter into direct dialogue with the representatives of these companies, the latter having the opportunity to make a selection of the best and passionate students, who in the future could join the team of professionals in the company they represent.

During this event, the SDC UTCN 2018 team had the opportunity to share the SDC's experience with under-age students and encourage them to participate in the following years at this contest. The students were presented with both execution and structural modeling processes, how important architecture and especially the building's economic cost is.
