The Selection Procedure of the Team SDC UTCN 2018

It's been a while since our last post, but thank you all for staying with us! A few weeks ago we started the process of forming the new UTCN team, which will participate at the 2018 contest in Los Angeles. The process was different from the previous years, consisting of two different selection stages.

In the first part, students were invited to submit their proposals, along letters of intent and CVs, on the basis of which they qualified in the next, more complex stage. Here they were challenged to work in teams formed by both construction and architecture students for three weeks on a given topic.

At the end of the set period, each team presented all the required pieces to a jury consisting of the coordinating teachers. The presentations were followed by testing the models on the vibrant table.
